Charles Oputa jnr. Opens shoes shop in Abuja

The Wuse area of the Federal capital territory oozes with some drooling aroma on Saturday, 6th November, 2012 when one of the most inventive and aesthetic shoes store was launched by the decent and resourceful son of the enigmatic Charlyboy, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charles jnr.  The Retail Therapy store located in Banex plaza Wuse II is arguably a world class shoes store with no equivalence as far as the FCT is concerned.  Located at the last floor of Banex Plaza, the retail main feature is a lenticular wall formed by many vertical cubbies, communicating the standard with which it tends to serve its customers.

Aesthetically and for some natural appeals, stocks are arranged in the most organized way for easy access by customers who will be trooping in to make their choices as different beautifully designed shoes and accompanied accessories form the available stocks in the shop.
The shop, according to the CEO is meant to play a dual role as it will also serve as lounge.
Speaking with the CEO, Therapy store, Mr. Charles Junior, he affirmed that his major aim of opening the shop was not for financial gains, but to make a statement that we all can take Abuja beyond its present standard.
“We can develop Abuja by ourselves without necessarily waiting for the Government, especially now that the world is moving at a jetlike speed. I have opened this shop just to open another phase of ideas for business men and woman in Abuja, that business can actually be transacted in the most relaxed and soothing way. That is why this place is like this’
Many customers who graced the opening of the shop on Saturday had confessed that Charle’s Therapy shop is obviously one of a kind in Abuja.

WHY DO U TINK HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?

Are you an African woman still struggling to find a husband at an old age because you are looking for a perfect man?
Something is certainly wrong with that notion my dear.
So, let's help guide your perspective.
Now, your propaganda magazine tells you that "All men are liars, cheats and useless," but let’s be honest here, which is more likely?
Is it that there’s something wrong with ab...
out 90million African men, OR there is something wrong with one African Woman, which could be YOU?.
*JustBeingReal*

The Truth is this, when a product is not doing well, the sales team don’t blame the customers, they either blame the product or sales and marketing strategy.
So ladies, have you been marketing yourselves?
What’s your Marketing Strategy?

Do you think you will be picked out of the shelf and placed in the basket of matrimony if you are always hanging out with that coven of "bad belle girlfriends" you call friends?
Those ladies who intimidate any man who approaches you. Hmmmm ....drinking yourself to stupor every Friday and Saturday night does not exactly make you look like a marriage material. Neither will any product do well in the market if the sales team smells of desperation.

Nagging and whining only tells a man that he is watching a preview of what life will be like if he walks down the aisle with you.
"If your precious Ex's all complained about your Nags, get a Gag!"

YOU want a man?...invest in a good wardrobe, and dress well. When a man comes to you, smile and be polite, even if he does not fit your mental image of your kind of man.

At 18, most ladies already have an image of her perfect man, which includes height, body type and wealth. As time goes on, a lady will add more and more qualities on her list, such that by the time she is dating for marriage, not a single man alive can meet her exact standards.

Ladies,
SO stop coming to relationship with a chip on your shoulder. If you believe All men are 'Bad', All men are Dogs, then it will become a self fulfilling prophesy. No man is perfect, If you want to find a perfect man, you will have to do a genesis chapter one and make him out of clay, and breathe life on him.
And even then, chances are, he may still disappoint YOU by eating the forbidden fruit...hehehehehe
So what the heck is wrong with you...???
You say you can't marry a blue collar guy; like a mechanic or carpenter, Now if a carpenter was good enough to marry Mary, the mother of the Jesus Christ, why do you think he is not good enough for you? *Hey!JustKidding*
A word is enough for the wise!!!

With this we felt our viewers would gain hands on knowledge in a selected field.
This year TKA along with our NGO Finger Works Initiative, sponsored several skill requisition workshops and seminars to help identify other areas of self employment through arts and crafts.
One of our most recent projects is the Widow’s Empowerment program for the Zumutamata Archdiocesan body Gwarimpa Abuja. This training program is set to begin Oct 26th  to 28th Presently our request for enrollment in this program is a huge challenge due to lack of resources and funds. TAAKRA RELOCATES TO ABUJA

Taakra, Africa’s ambassador in arts and crafts has expanded its operations over the years. This is due to the active participation of people who are eager to learn arts. This has made well meaning individuals with zeal and zest to become self- reliant and masters of their own creativity. In participating, they have also been able to develop their skills which have reduced the rate of unemployment in the country. Taakra in this regards has discovered various arts and crafts in different parts of the country that are now being displayed in galleries. Due to these discoveries, there has become the urgent need to develop the Nigerian artists in all creative forms in order to expand their horizon.
As a result of this, Taakra has undertaken an aggressive/ indepth  research to investigate "into" the core values of the African system using the available medium of arts and crafts. Interviews were carried out to rummage around a more convenient place for Taakra participants and administrative office.  Abuja was then chosen ahead of the 36 states in the country.  This decision was influenced by its position as the Federal Capital Territory.  Other reasons for this decision were that it has a lot of opportunities to offer ranging from sponsorship to an approving environment for networking.
As a result of this move, Taakra will be in a better position to discover arts from local communities far and wide. This will provide the communities the needed platform to showcase their arts, crafts and culture.
Despite the fact that Taakra has relocated its head quarters to Abuja, it can still operate effectively from her other locations. Workshops and seminars alike will still be held in the former locations. Meanwhile, the official opening of the Abuja Head office will commence in no distant time and  Taakra is inviting all well meaning Nigerians to be part of this epoch making occasion.

It would be recalled that Lady D ran a TV program years past, and many TV lovers had followed her program consistently before she opted for a physical audience interaction program via classes and lectures.  Emphasizing on why it became expedient to suspend the TV program, the mother of 3 said  it was easier to run the Academy while interacting with her students instead through the television channel, pointing out  that she has just commenced a new session in her new school, here in the FCT.

infidelity

Hey Peeps! As a woman or as a man, if you find out that your spouse is cheating, would you want to know who the other person is? If you get to know, what would be your reaction?

THE WORD FAITH.........

Faith is the foot of the soul by which it can march along the road of the commandments. Love can make the feet move more swiftly; but faith is the foot which carries the soul. Faith is the oil enabling the wheels of holy devotion and of earnest piety to move well; and without faith the wheels are taken from the chariot, and we drag heavily. With faith I can do all things; without faith I shall neither have the inclination nor the power to do anything in the service of God. If you would find the men who serve God the best, you must look for the men of the most faith. Little faith will save a man, but little faith cannot do great things for God.
