Amazing 54th Wedding Anniversary of PA. Abah Idoko

When the civil war was at its peak and the entire nation was on fire, these two love birds met. While the fire of hatred and discomfort was burning, they were blinded by love, and they simply got glued like two inseparable objects, and like the bible had said “ what God has joined together let now man, woman, put asunder” Nature couldn’t even detach that bond of love they kept them together for years. It was a bold step in the direction of true love as PA. Abah Idoko willingly and gladly picked up mama who already had 3 kids as at then. Papa, in his unique way, pulled himself out of the strings of idol worship, which was in vogue during his time. He saw ahead of his time, and went the western way, even though he had extreme respect for his culture. He knew the thin line that existed between the culture of his people and his religion. He accepted Christianity as a way of life, and trained his children in the way of the Lord. Today, we are celebrating the 54th wedding anniversary of this great couple who not only fulfill their promise of bringing their children up in the way of the Lord, but also gave the children the best education and as they are all well to do. Out of their nine children, Papa and mama appreciated God by dedicating two of their children to God; one, a Rev Sister while another, a Rev. Father. Papa and Mam are blessed with 28 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. /> If FOOTBALL was academic institutions in Nigeria Then, Arsenal would have been Nsuk, where students work hard only for them to stop lecture exam because of water saga that was hijacked by some selfish politician with contract and money on their mind like Arsene Wenger. Manchester City would have been Agwan Labon and high court students where the students pay high rent, purchase all expensive items and live large but the state and the school have refused to give them value for their money. Too bad. Manchester Utd would have been Unillorin where the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Shamsudeen O. O. Amali, was a VC and a similar saga happened to their lecturers that led to ASUU strike years past. , Chelsea would have been Nsuk where the VC failed and put the blame on hoodlums. Instead of intervening, and searching for a new VC it rather began the construction of bore holes after lives have been lost. “Uncle JONA” Barcelona = would have been NSUK, where students work hard, perform well in Class and achieve the best result in all their endeavors. Nsuk students are representing in almost all the sector of the economy. I am a proud to be an alumni of NSUK…….

Lady D celebrated her birthday with hubby in Abuja, the city centre of Nigeria. The ever young couple painted the town red yesterday as they toured the federal capital in a glamorous way. Who would have thought it’s just a birthday celebration and not a honey moon parade as they openly showered each other with unimaginable affection. It was a sight to behold as Lady D was celebrated by her husband Charlyboy who made it seem like she was all that existed in the world, after he had proclaimed his love to her via the social media earlier. Who wouldn’t want a day like that on her birthday? You should see for yourself…

"Alas"Lady D takes taakra to the Groove/ Visit Kalakuta Republic

With the zeal, zest and enthusiasm that characterize her interminable philosophy, Diane Oputa, an ambassador of African Arts & Crafts, the Director of Taakra Academy visited the Kalakuta Republic, home of Nigerian foremost artists, political activists and musicians, Fela  Anikulapo Kuti.

 Fela was a true pioneer, not only creating a peerless musical style he termed Afrobeat, but also influencing everyone from all spheres of life.  Diane Oputa Fondly called Lady D cannot help but to visit the late musician’s shrine at Ikeja Lagos where his son Seun performs.

Lady D Visit to Kalakuta Republic

 Lady D is an artist as well as teacher, actor and musician from South Caroline, Married to the popular Nigerian Musician, Charlyboy also known as the Area fada. Her artistic works reflect a personal cosmology; drown from the Africa myths and stories which lead to the exploration of Oshogbo cultural site for her TV show known as Taakra tv. 

Lady D and Taakra Team visit to the Grove in Osun State

Lady D has been committed to teaching of African Arts and crafts, translating same into invaluable product for the ordinary Nigerian and creating a platform for self-reliance and empowerment for individuals who are looking for means to earn EXTRA INCOME.
